The Issue
CommonSpirit is one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the U.S., with more than 1,000 care sites in 21 states coast to coast, serving 20 million patients across America. With nurses making up nearly one third of the workforce, it was essential that the organization make every effort to celebrate, support and elevate these valuable health care leaders.
The Solution
For the past four years, Ethos has developed 60+ page Annual Reports to showcase CommonSpirit’s nursing strategic priorities in action, and how each supporting tactic helps implement the organization’s shared nursing vision. Each division and nursing team reports inspirational stories and highlights from the year. Accompanying videos have highlighted nurses week and given thanks to all the nurses in the organization that make CommonSpirit so special.
The Outcome
CommonSpirit nurses are inspired to continually share their intellect, compassion and commitment to excellence in their ongoing effort to transform and elevate the nursing profession. Now more than ever, it’s important for nurses to feel supported and to celebrate and appreciate their hard work. This publication gives them a voice and opportunity to be heard.
